best reviews about our Rehoboth Beach, DE hotel

My mom and I had a great experience with this hotel on our trip to RB! The staff were friendly and clearly cared about the visitors, striking up genuine conversations with us and going the extra mile to answer our questions about future visits*. Our room was clean and nice with a lovely view (we could see the ocean down the street, and the sunrise in the morning!). The outdoor hallway serves as a lovely little balcony with surprisingly comfortable chairs and we enjoyed relaxing out there. The location is also great, we were able to walk to the beach, boardwalk, and all the restaurants we went to. One possible but navigable drawback: there are no elevators, so plan accordingly if you have an upstairs room! Maybe bring two smaller suitcases instead of one heavier bigger one, if you can. If stairs don't work for you, definitely go for a room on the ground floor. *We were asking about the ADA accessible rooms on the first floor to see if they would work for my brother, who uses a motorized wheelchair. Verdict: maybe? The space is a little small for a wheelchair like his to go through. But the woman (Jean, I believe) who was working when we asked about the rooms showed us the rooms, told us about the features, explained which furniture they would be able to move if it would make it more accessible, etc-- very kind and helpful!

Located downtown, very clean, well maintained and comfortable beds with nice linens. We're pleased to be staying here.

We stayed at the Oceanus when vacationing in Rehobeth Aug 2022. We loved the location and convenience, we walked everywhere for an entire week. Our room was comfortable and all amenities were as expected.

The Oceanus was great for the reasonable price. Walking distance from all the shops and only approx 2 blocks from the beach. Enjoyed our stay and utilizing the hotel pool.
